Service
Improvements
The following steps must be completed before
your service improvement can be scheduled.
1. Complete the following
forms
- Service Improvement Application
- Right-of-Way Easement
(you must furnish a copy of the deed to the property).
2. Call to schedule a
staking appointment
Contact Beltrami Electric at 218-444-2540 or 800-955-6083 to schedule a
staking appointment for your service improvement.
3. Fees may need to be
paid
The staking engineer will determine what fees are due ($350.00 minimum). Payment
must be received at the office. Beltrami Electric will not invoice for
this service.
4.
Schedule your installation
Upon completion of the above steps, contact Beltrami Electric at
218-444-2540 or 800-955-6083 to schedule the installation of your service
improvement. The cooperative is not responsible for damages to private
facilities, such as cable TV, private electrical, water, sewer, telephone,
gas or sprinkler system lines. It is the owner's responsibility to locate
and expose their private facilities before construction takes place. Any
water lines buried deeper than 48 inches do not have to be exposed. If no
locate has been acquired by the private landowner, the cooperative shall
bear no liability if such lines are damaged during construction. |
