Member Services Representative
Beltrami Electric Cooperative, located in Bemidji, Minnesota, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Member Services Representative.
Primary Responsibilities
- Providing superior service to cooperative members by responding to member inquiries on the telephone, in person and electronically.
- Process service requests
- Provide back-up and support to Receptionist/Cashier.
- Coordinate appointments with electricians and staking technicians and completes preliminary paperwork.
- Conducts direct telephone communication with members regarding past-due accounts and assists with payment plans.
- Correspond with multiple assistance agencies to help members secure funding for assistance with electric bills.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Beltrami Electric Cooperative offers an excellent pay and benefits package and the opportunity to be a part of a great cooperative team and culture. The starting hourly range is $22.50/hr - $32.13/hr for this position. The final compensation offered will be based on the candidates’ qualifications, experience and skill level. Seasonal Apprentice Lineworker
Beltrami Electric Cooperative is looking to fill two openings for a Seasonal Apprentice Lineworker to assist our line crews, while gaining experience in all aspects of safe construction and maintenance of our electrical distribution system. The openings are anticipated to start in May and end in November.
Need to have:
- High school or GED diploma AND Electrical Lineworker Diploma
- Current and valid Minnesota Class A Driver’s License (CDL) and DOT health card
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical demands and drug screening.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with possibility of overtime.
In this position you will:
- Build electrical distribution systems within the appropriate specifications, guidelines and standards.
- Maintain the electrical distribution system to ensure its safety and reliability while minimizing any disruption of service.
- Restore power in a safe and timely manner.
Compensation / Benefit:
- Hourly wage for this non-union position is $30.04 per hour
- Not eligible for cooperative benefits
- Eligible for Earned Sick and Safe Time per Minnesota State Statute
