Journeylevel or Apprentice Lineworkers

Beltrami Electric Cooperative, located in Bemidji Minnesota, seeks qualified candidates for Journeylevel or Apprentice Lineworkers. 

The responsibilities of this position are to safely perform construction, maintenance and operation activities necessary to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Cooperative’s overhead and underground distribution lines and facilities; and to do such work on lines that are either energized or de-energized.

Qualified candidates:

  • Must have completed an accredited Electrical Lineworker Course and have at least one year of field experience.

  • Must have strong motivational, communication and organizational skills.

  • A valid MN Class “A” driver’s license and medical card are required.

  • Must pass a pre-employment physical demands and drug screening.

Beltrami Electric Cooperative offers an excellent pay and benefits package and the opportunity to be a part of a great cooperative team and culture.  The starting hourly range for this position is $37.55/hr - $50.06/hr.  Beltrami Electric Cooperative’s benefit package includes paid holidays, paid sick leave, paid vacation, medical, dental, disability, life, FSA, HSA, 401 (k), and a defined-benefit pension plan.
