Mechanic Position
Beltrami Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Mechanic. We are looking for an energetic person experienced in the maintenance and repair of automotive and heavy equipment. Strong technical, motivational, communication and organizational skills are required. Duties include service and maintenance of vehicles and equipment through computer diagnostics, install safety equipment, perform annual commercial vehicle inspections, repair fleet equipment cooling systems, repair gas and diesel engines, electric vehicles, transmissions, differential and suspension. Perform welding jobs on trucks and equipment including plow blade hard surfacing and metal fabrication work. Service and repair line tools, lawn equipment, small engines, and power saws.
Candidates must possess a MN Class “A” driver’s license, a valid Commercial Vehicle Inspector Certificate, and an EPA-approved Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling Certificate. A high School diploma or GED equivalent with one year of recent experience in the maintenance and repair of automotive and heavy equipment required.
BEC offers an excellent pay and benefits package and the opportunity to be a part of a great cooperative team and culture. The starting hourly range for this position is $37.55/hr - $50.06/hr.
