TOUCHSTONE ENERGY® COMMUNITY AWARD

Each year, Beltrami Electric celebrates volunteerism and community service with the Touchstone® Energy Community Award, which recognizes businesses, non-profit and community groups that have shown a strong commitment to the community.

About the Touchstone Energy Community Award

The Touchstone Energy® Community Award acknowledges the efforts of those who have impacted numerous people, addressed unmet community needs or provided necessary services.

One winning organization will receive a $1,000 cash prize and will compete with winners from other electric cooperatives for statewide recognition and an additional $2,000 cash prize.

Any civic organization or non-profit in our service area is eligible to compete for the award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to our local communities.

Organizations are eligible to apply for the award themselves, or community members may apply on behalf of a deserving organization.

The application will require a description of the project, program, or event and the positive impact it brought to the community.

Each October, community members may nominate an organization, association, or business by completing the application form, available at Beltrami Electric Cooperative, 4111 Technology Drive NW, Bemidji.

Applications will be available on October 1.

Questions may be directed to Angela Lyseng at 218-444-3689 or alyseng@beltramielectric.com.
