GREENTOUCH
Minnesota's Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives and their members join together each year to help spruce up the State Parks. GreenTouch is the name given to this unique State Parks project, which promotes the Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives' values of integrity, accountability, innovation and community involvement.
Unfortunately, Beltrami Electric Cooperative will not be holding a GreenTouch Day event in 2022.
We appreciate the volunteers who participate and assist the park each year. If you are interested in volunteering at the park, we encourage you to contact the park office at (218) 308-2300 to see if they have any other volunteers opportunities available for individuals.
For updates on the park and visitor restrictions, visit the State Park website here:
Project GreenTouch is held each year, typically the first Saturday in May, from 10 A.M. - 2 P.M. A grilled picnic lunch is served. Youth groups, service club, individuals and families are welcome to participate in GreenTouch day. If you are interested in volunteering, you may contact Angela Lyseng at (218) 444-3689 or alyseng@beltramielectric.com.
Project GreenTouch is a collaboration of Minnesota Touchstone Energy Cooperatives who join together with their electric cooperative employees and members to volunteer in various parks throughout the state. Beltrami Electric Cooperative volunteers locally at Lake Bemidji State Park, where we work together on projects like clearing walking trails and campgrounds, raking leaves and pine needles, picking up litter, and other general cleanup.
GreenTouch officially launched in 2000, and since then more than 9,700 people have volunteered more than 35,800 hours to help beautify our state parks!
Beltrami Electric Cooperative is a Touchstone Energy® cooperative serving parts of six counties in north-central Minnesota. The rural electric cooperative provides services to more than 17,000 member-owners within a 3,000 square mile service area.
