Beltrami Electric Cooperative is proud to share that Angela Lyseng, our Communications Specialist, has been recognized nationally for her outstanding work in engaging with members and promoting cooperative values. Angela received the 2025 Member Engagement Champion Award during NRECA’s Connect Conference, an annual event that brings together electric cooperative communicators from across the country.

The award is given by Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives, a nationwide alliance of electric cooperatives dedicated to integrity, accountability, innovation, and community commitment. It honors individuals who exemplify excellence in engaging cooperative members through creative communication, outreach, and service.

In presenting the award, Touchstone Energy Executive Director Jana Adams described Lyseng as “a true ambassador of member engagement” who demonstrates innovation, creativity, and a deep commitment to the cooperative mission in every aspect of her work.

Angela plays a key role in planning events, managing communications, and finding meaningful ways to keep members informed and connected. Her thoughtful work reflects the heart of Beltrami Electric’s mission—to serve and engage with our members and communities.
