Being a member at Beltrami Electric Cooperative means you have the opportunity to give back to your community. Operation Round Up® is a program where our members can opt-in to round up their monthly bill to the next whole dollar. Averaging about 50 cents per month per member, that spare change goes into a dedicated trust and is awarded to various local organizations twice a year. With a maximum annual contribution of just $11.88 per member, these small tax-deductible donations gather power when combined, turning pocket change into significant community investment.

Since the program’s inception in 2016, Operation Round Up® has awarded over $890,000 directly to local non-profit projects, youth initiatives, emergency services, and community care programs. We are happy to announce that in this biannual October grant cycle, $40,858.00 was awarded to local community organizations.
