As a critical service, Beltrami Electric continues to provide our members with the safe and reliable electricity they expect. In keeping with this commitment, we are taking every precaution to protect our member's safety, and the safety of our employees.

As a result of Governor Walz's Stay At Home Order, Beltrami Electric is implementing the next stage of our Pandemic Response Plan.

What does these mean for our members?
Effective Friday, March 27 at 4:30 pm, our office is closed. Our call center will be handling our incoming calls during our normal business hours, (8 am - 4:30 pm, M-F) and relaying the information to our member services department to assist you. Some of our staff is working remotely so we can continue to provide you with the level of service you expect and keep members power on.

Members may utilize the following payment options:

SmartHub: Members may utilize the SmartHub web platform or mobile app to make a payment, monitor their use, or manage their account. If you have questions about signing up for SmartHub, please give us a call and we can walk you through the process.

Online: Members may make a one-time online payment by clicking on green One-Time payment button at the top of our website.

US Mail: Members may mail their payment to Beltrami Electric at PO Box 488, Bemidji, MN 56619

Pay By Phone: (24/7 free & secure payment line) 1-855-356-6345

Drop Box: Simply drop a payment or other correspondence into our drop box by the flag pole in our parking lot.

MoneyGram: Located at Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Lueken's, TEALS

Bank Payment: Inquire at your bank

Automatic payment: Sign up through SmartHub

If you are struggling to pay your electric bill due to circumstances related to COVID-19, call us. We understand the stress this has put on our members and we will work with those who call us to make payment arrangements and can direct you to resources to provide further assistance.

Non-essential work has been postponed. If members experience an outage, please report it as usual and we will dispatch our linemen to make the repairs as usual. Outages may be reported via SmartHub, Outage Texting, or by calling (218) 444-2540 or (800) 955-6083.

Beltrami Electric's management team will continue to monitor the fluid and changing situation.  We will still be working; we will just be working DIFFERENTLY.  Rest assured that we are committed to supplying our members with safe and reliable electric service during the uneasy times being created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
